Sixth Grade Perspective Rooms
Sixth graders learned to draw in one-point perspective and created these rooms over the course of the trimester. This is my favorite kind of project because it entails an equal combination of skill and creativity. One-point perspective has a set of simple rules wherein all vertical lines remain vertical, but horizontal lines on a vertical surface (and vice versa) are drawn with diagonals, all of which point towards a single vanishing point, in this case, at the center of the page.
