Seventh Grade Apple Drawings

Seventh graders spend almost an entire trimester learning about how to create value with different dry and wet media. The culmination of this unit is "Draw an Apple/Eat an Apple." Students use their choice of colored pencil, watercolor pencil, 2B pencil, and charcoal to draw real apples. Then, they take a bite and draw again, repeating this process until the apple is gone. It's a great project and a healthy snack!
